The ‘Happy Bug Ball’ takes its name from the classic song the ‘Ugly Bug Ball’, but we’ve refreshed the lyrics in order to update it.
This activity supports children to transform a song traditionally performed in English into a multilingual song, based upon the heritage languages spoken within the class, in addition to any languages the children are keen to learn and explore.
The activity consists of several sections, which can be adapted according to time, key stage or the area of the curriculum that the activity is supporting.
